Ranthambore National Park is one of the best places on Earth to see a wild Bengal tiger. Its dry forests, lakes and the ruins of a 10th-century fort create a dramatic backdrop for wildlife photography.
This compact 4-day / 3-night tour is designed to maximise your sighting chances: you join 4 scheduled jungle safaris in a shared jeep, always accompanied by an experienced naturalist who reads pugmarks and alarm calls. Besides tigers, look out for leopards, sloth bears, sambar deer, crocodiles and more than 300 species of birds.
You stay in a comfortable jungle lodge with all meals included, and return transfers from Delhi are part of the price of $750 per person. The park is open from October to June; April and May offer the best sightings as animals gather at waterholes.
Around 80 tigers live in Ranthambore and its buffer zones.

Morning train or private drive from Delhi to Sawai Madhopur, the gateway to the park (approx. 5–6 hours). Check in to your jungle lodge and enjoy an evening briefing with your naturalist.
Morning and afternoon jungle safaris in a shared jeep (canter on request), tracking tigers, leopards and other wildlife through the park zones.
Another full day with two more safaris to increase your chances of sightings. Midday free at the lodge pool or for a visit to the hilltop Ranthambore Fort.
Optional early-morning safari (extra cost), breakfast and return journey to Delhi.
The park covers about 1,334 km² including its buffer zones. Apart from tigers, you can spot leopards, striped hyenas, sloth bears, marsh crocodiles and large herds of sambar and spotted deer. Birdwatchers can tick off crested serpent eagles, painted storks and Indian peafowl. Safari zones are allocated by the park authority, which is why we book your permits well in advance.
